To Create a Picture Block
  1. Select the picture block tool from the tool bar.

  2. Position the pointer on the page or pasteboard, and drag to draw the picture block. If you are creating the picture block for position only and you don't import a picture, the picture block displays and prints with a black rule. You can change the size of a picture block, move it, copy it, duplicate it, remove it, or lock it in position. You can also change its border.

    To draw a square picture block, hold down the Shift key before you start to drag to draw the picture block. You can release the Shift key after you start drawing.

TIME SAVER! You can create a picture block and have it ready for inserting a picture. Hold down the Command key and then draw the picture block, and the cropping tool is automatically selected and the picture block is ready for a picture.
