To Set Negative or Emulsion Side Down For Printing To Film

You can specify to print a negative instead of a positive. You can also specify to print emulsion side down instead of up.

  1. Choose Preferences/Printing from the Document menu.
    To print a negative rather than a positive, check Negative
    To print emulsion side down (wrong-reading), check Emulsion Side Down.

  2. Click OK.

To switch off the negative or emulsion side down setting, uncheck the relevant check boxes in the Printing Preferences dialog box. Clicking Negative and Emulsion Side Down will automatically cause the Invert Image and Flip Horizontal check boxes to be selected under the Options button in the Printing Preferences dialog box.
