You can combine spot and process color separations in the same print job.

For objects using a pen, such as a rule or a border, set the screening options in the Pen Screen dialog box via the object's specification sheet.

For objects using a fill, such as the interior of a rectangle or polygon, set the screening options in the Fill Screen dialog box via the object's specification sheet.

For text, set the screening options in the Text Screen dialog box via the text block's specification sheet.

For gradients, set the screening options via the Gradients dialog box. Select the gradient with the cropping tool, choose Gradient from the Graphic menu, and click Screen.

For images, set the screening options via the Image Control dialog box. Select the image with the cropping tool, choose Image Control from the Graphic menu, and click Screen.
All of the screening dialog boxes offer the option of Use Document Default. To set the document's default screening, choose Preferences/Printing from the Document menu, click PostScript Options, and click Screening. You may set the document default to use the current printer's default values, or you may set your own values. When you print, all screens set to Use Document Default will follow these settings.
