When text doesn't fill a text block, you can distribute the extra vertical space so that
the text is at the top (the preset vertical position), the bottom, or the center of the
block. Or you can space out or feather lines or paragraphs to fill the block with text.

Select the text block whose
vertical spacing you want to change, and choose Specifications from the Document menu.

Press the icon of the current
vertical alignment, and then choose the one you want from the Alignment pop-up.

Click OK to change the vertical
alignment of the text.
The vertical alignment setting is always at the top if the text runs around another
object, or if the I-beam tool is selected.
