To Change the Case of Text

You can change the case of text to: sentence-style capitalization (only the first letter of the first word in the sentence is capitalized), all characters uppercase, all characters lowercase, initial capitals for each word, or small capitals. This is a permanent editorial change that cannot be undone. Except for the Small Caps option, it is not affected by stylesheets.

  1. Select the text you want to change.

  2. Choose Convert Text To from the Text menu, and select the option you want from the submenu. You cannot select Small Caps if a stylesheet is formatting the text with a type size.
See Using Stylesheets and Commands to Format Text
    for details.

To control the formatting of the small caps, choose Preferences/Typographic from the Document menu and click the Small Caps button in the Typographic Preferences dialog box
