You can copy the type specs that are formatting an insertion point or selected text and apply them to another insertion point or text you select.

1. Select the insertion point or text whose type specs you want to copy.

2. Choose Copy Format from the Edit menu.

3. Select another insertion point or text.

4. Choose Apply Format from the Edit menu. If a stylesheet is formatting the text, a dialog box suggests that you choose Remove Styles from the Edit menu to remove the stylesheet from the affected text. Then you can choose the Apply Format command again.Working with the Copy Format and Apply Format commands dose not affect what's on the clipboard.
