RSG usually justifies text by fitting as many words as possible on a line, depending on the horizontal spacing specs and hyphenation specs you have specified. You can fine tune justification by specifying ranges for the percentage of word and character spacing.

1. Choose Justification Specs from the Document menu.

2. Select Professional to control the amount of word and character spacing. The preset options are displayed.

3. Specify the minimum and maximum percentages for applying justification. These percentages increase or decrease the amount of space allowed between justified words and their characters. You can specify Word Spacing from 0% to 800% and Character Spacing from 75% to 125%.

4. Click OK. Use the Save Defaults command from the File menu to make the specs the default options for each new document you open after you start RSG again.
