Specifying Objects With Precision

Use an object's specification sheet in its Specifications dialog box to make precise changes to its position on the page, dimensions, and other characteristics. For example, you can specify an object's position on a page within ten thousandths of an inch. Your computer's screen may not be able to display anything so accurately, but if your printer can work at that precision you'll get those results when you print.
Besides using specification sheets to work with objects, you can use commands in the Object menu to rotate, move, duplicate, and align objects with precision.
