You layout your page with three kinds of objects-text blocks,
picture blocks, and graphic objects. This chapter teaches you the basics of working with
single objects and groups of objects.
You create a text block, picture block, or graphic object by selecting a tool from the
tool bar and drawing. You can then make any required changes to the object's
specification.
If the layout grid is active when you draw an object, it snaps to fit the grid rectangles.
Or if the layout guide (or any page guide) is active, a side of the object within a
certain distance of the guide snaps to it. The Snap To feature makes it easy to align
objects as you create them.
