You can move selected objects a precise
distance horizontally or vertically, or both, by using each object's specification sheet
or by using the Move command.

Select the object, objects, or
group you want to move.

Choose Move from the Object menu.
The Move Selected Objects dialog box appears.

Type the distance in the
Horizontal Offset box. Positive numbers move objects right, negative numbers move them
left.

Type the distance in the Vertical
Offset box. Positive numbers move objects down, negative numbers move them up.

Click OK.
To move selected objects precisely a point at a time, press the arrow key to move them in the direction you want. Each press moves each selected object a point.
