To Rotate Objects Around Their Common Center

You can rotate two or more objects around their common group center. The center of a group is the center point in a group boundary. Think of a group boundary as a rectangle that includes all object boundaries in the selected group.

  1. Select the objects you want to rotate.

  2. Select the rotation tool from the tool bar. The pointer changes to an arrowhead.

  3. Hold down the Command key, position the pointer on the page, and press to display the rotation axis. For more information, see To Rotate Objects Around their Individual Centers earlier in this section.
